Prescription Off-Label UseBimatoprost (the active ingredient in Latisse) may be prescribed off-label for periocular dermatology applications including eyebrow growth and eyelash enhancement beyond the labeled indication. Used under clinical supervision.
Emergency: If you experience chest pain, severe shortness of breath, a prolonged painful erection (over 4 hours), or sudden vision/hearing loss — call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
Who Should Not Use Latisse (Periocular/Skin Application)
- Active eye infection or inflammation
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding without provider consultation
- Known hypersensitivity to bimatoprost
