Compounded Oral Semaglutide

Emergency: If you experience chest pain, severe shortness of breath, a prolonged painful erection (over 4 hours), or sudden vision/hearing loss — call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
Who Should Not Use Compounded Oral Semaglutide
- Patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or MEN 2
- Known hypersensitivity to semaglutide
- Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals
- Patients with a history of pancreatitis without provider clearance

Contraindicated in patients with personal/family history of MTC or MEN 2, consistent with all semaglutide-containing products.
Absorption Considerations
Oral semaglutide absorption can be affected by food and other medications taken at the same time. Follow your provider's dosing instructions (typically fasting, with a small amount of water).
Pancreatitis
Discontinue immediately if acute pancreatitis is suspected.

- Signs of hypoglycemia if on concurrent insulin/sulfonylureas
