Important Safety Information
Sermorelin (Injection / ODT)
Compounded Peptide TherapySermorelin is a growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog that stimulates the body's own natural growth hormone release, rather than supplying synthetic growth hormone directly. It is compounded and prescribed for longevity/wellness support (injection or orally-dissolving tablet) under provider supervision.
Emergency: If you experience chest pain, severe shortness of breath, a prolonged painful erection (over 4 hours), or sudden vision/hearing loss — call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
Who Should Not Use Sermorelin (Injection / ODT)
- Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals
- Anyone with known or suspected malignancy (active cancer)
- Patients with intracranial or pituitary lesions/tumors without specialist clearance
- Individuals with known hypersensitivity to sermorelin or its components
- Patients with uncontrolled diabetes or severe hyperglycemia without provider guidance
Warnings & Precautions
Untreated Hypothyroidism
Sermorelin's effect may be blunted by untreated hypothyroidism; thyroid function should be assessed and optimized.
Glucose Effects
May affect insulin sensitivity/blood sugar. Patients with diabetes should monitor glucose closely and discuss with their provider.
Fluid Retention
Mild fluid retention, joint aches, or carpal-tunnel-like tingling have been reported, especially at higher doses.
Limited Long-Term Data
Long-term safety data are more limited than for many standard medications; periodic provider monitoring is recommended during treatment.
