Vardenafil (Generic Levitra)

Emergency: If you experience chest pain, severe shortness of breath, a prolonged painful erection (over 4 hours), or sudden vision/hearing loss — call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
Who Should Not Use Vardenafil (Generic Levitra)
- Women or children
- Men taking any form of nitrate medication
- Men taking riociguat or other soluble guanylate cyclase stimulators
- Individuals with a known hypersensitivity to vardenafil
- Men with congenital long QT syndrome or taking Class IA (e.g., quinidine, procainamide) or Class III (e.g., amiodarone, sotalol) antiarrhythmic medications
Warnings & Precautions
Nitrate Contraindication
Combining vardenafil with nitrates can cause a severe, potentially fatal drop in blood pressure. This combination is strictly contraindicated.
QT Prolongation
Vardenafil may prolong the QT interval. Avoid use with congenital long QT syndrome or Class IA/III antiarrhythmic medications.
Priapism
Seek emergency care for any erection lasting more than 4 hours.
Cardiovascular Evaluation
Men with known cardiovascular disease should be evaluated by their provider before starting therapy.

- Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors — may increase vardenafil levels
